History

Founded in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, the company originally operated under the name IA SAS. It was established as a partnership between two specialists in energy efficiency an electronic engineer and a mechanical engineer with a clear vision: to deliver high-quality engineering solutions grounded in technical rigor, innovation, and industrial practicality.

From the very beginning, the company distinguished itself through strong capabilities in electronic engineering, particularly in PCB design, embedded programming, and industrial automation. This solid technical foundation enabled the development of reliable, custom-engineered solutions and fostered long-term relationships with industrial clients across multiple sectors.

As the company grew, its service portfolio expanded to include reverse engineering, energy efficiency studies, industrial sensor development, and comprehensive electrical and electronic maintenance services. This evolution allowed IA SAS to address increasingly complex industrial challenges while maintaining a strong focus on performance optimization and operational efficiency.

In 2023, a strategic ownership transition took place when one of the original partners exited the company and two new partners joined. This change resulted in a leadership team composed of three majority shareholders with complementary expertise in electronic, mechanical, and chemical engineering, as well as energy efficiency. The new structure strengthened the company's multidisciplinary approach and positioned it for international expansion.

As part of this transformation, the company underwent a rebranding and relocation process. IA SAS evolved into CoreSense, reflecting a renewed identity focused on advanced sensing technologies, intelligent systems, and high-impact engineering solutions. The company officially relocated its operations to the United States, marking a new chapter aimed at serving the North American market with the same technical excellence that defined its origins.
